Four crews were called to the Clashfarquar House Care Home at 9.48am. No one was injured. Two appliances from Stonehaven attended, along with one from Laurencekirk and another from Altens. A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews used a reel hose to extinguish the fire at the care home. “Thermal imaging equipment was also used and we received a call to stop form the scene at 10.24am.” The cause of the inferno is unknown.
