A group of youngsters were approached by a man and woman in Oldmeldrum
A fresh appeal for information has been issued by police after a man and woman approached a group of children in Oldmeldrum last weekend.
Officers are looking to trace the occupants of a blue Volkswagen following an incident on Provost Florence Drive, between 2pm and 3pm on September 27.
The blue Volkswagen is believed to be a 2005-7 model Golf.
Inspector Jamie Harrison, from the Formartine Community Policing Team, said: “I remain satisfied that there is no sinister motive behind the occupants of this vehicle speaking to the children, however we are asking that the individuals come forward in order for us to establish the full circumstances.
“Further information now available is that the vehicle is described as a dark blue Volkswagen Golf and is distinctive in that it has tinted rear windows and black coloured alloy wheels.”
