ByP&J Reporter
An Aberdeen city centre road is to be closed to traffic for around a year and a half from October 18.
The city council has announced Broad Street will be closed travelling from Queen Street north to Upperkirkgate to all traffic, other than buses and emergency services.
The closure begins a week on Sunday as part of the ongoing construction work on the controversial Marischal Square Development being built in place of St Nicholas House.
Traffic travelling south towards Union Street will not be affected.
