Man hospitalised after being hit by car outside Aberdeen casino

A man has been taken to hospital this evening after being hit by a car outside an Aberdeen casino.

Police and ambulance teams were called to the scene of the incident on Bon Accord Street just outside Soul Casino at around 5.30pm.

In the accident, a pedestrian was struck by a car and received a concussion and minor injuries.

The man, aged 53, has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution ,as his injuries are believed to not be life threatening.
