A teenager has appeared in court after two cars were stolen from properties in the north-east.
Jordan Chesser made no plea when he appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.
He was charged with the theft of two cars from Kintore on Wednesday, as well as driving whilst disqualified and without insurance.
Sheriff Edward Savage continued the 18-year-old’s case for further examination and remanded him in custody meantime.
Chesser, of Aberdeen, will appear in court again next week.
Inspector Jamie Harrison, of the Formartine community policing team, said enquiries into other recent car thefts in Aberdeenshire were still ongoing and appealed for anyone with any information to come forward.
