Police close Aberdeen road as bomb squad inspects “possible ordnance”

Police have closed a busy Aberdeen road after discovering “possible found ordinance” on the beach.

The Beach Esplande is closed as the bomb squad inspects the possible ordinance.

A police spokesman said: “They are viewing the item as we speak.

“We obviously have had to close the road for public safety in the meantime.”
