An anonymous but sharp dressing philanthropist has given an Aberdeen charity shop thousands of pounds worth of designer clothes.
The staff at Shelter Scotland’s shop on Union Street were shocked and awed when stacks of men’s designer shirts valued at around £100 each, ties at £45 each and other items were handed in by an unknown charitable and fashionable person.
Vivienne Westwood, Peter Van Holland and Hope and Glory were spotted amongst the flash labels.
The items were in as good as new, some seemingly never worn as the original price tags had never been taken off.
The charity shop will sell the fabulous threads for a fraction of their original price tag.
The total value of the donation goes in excess of £5,000.
Obvious brand suits which sell for £350 and Peter Van Holland suits which retail at £325 could be getting snapped up by bargain savy, snazy dressers soon.
