James Metcalf was arrested following the discovery of £142,000 worth of heroin from an address in Crimond, Aberdeenshire, on Tuesday. The 34-year-old appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of drugs. He was also accused of being involved in concealing criminal property. Metclaf, of Walton, made no plea when he appeared in front of Sheriff Kenneth Stewart and he was remanded in custody. Chide Dominic Masuku, 35, and Ikechukwu Njoku, 29, also appeared before the sheriff charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. Their appearance comes after £43,000 worth of crack cocaine was recovered from two addresses in Aberdeen. Raids were carried out on properties in the city centre and Torry areas on Tuesday. Masuku, of Oldham, and Njoku made no plea and were both released on bail. The cases against all three men were continued for further examination and they are all expected to appear again in court next week.
