A warrant has been issued for an Aberdeen man who allegedly stole meat and cheese on a bizarre shoplifting spree while in possession of drugs.
David Slater, of Flat A, 559 North Anderson Drive, failed to appear when the case called at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday leading to Sheriff William Taylor issuing a warrant for his apprehension.
The 43-year-old faces six charges which are all alleged to have occurred at the Co-Op Cornhill store.
Taylor is accused of stealing a quantity of alcohol from the shop on March 22 and 23.
On April 17, it is alleged he stole cheese and meat from the shop while in possession of cannabis resin and diazepam.
