The male driver of the motorbike hit a car on the A952 between New Leeds and Mintlaw. Emergency services received the call at around 3.30am. The motorcyclist was treated by paramedics on the scene but had to be taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI). A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries. An investigation into the incident is still ongoing.” The road between Mintlaw and the Fetterangus junction has now reopened. Accident investigators at the scene of the crash on the a952 near the fetterangus turn off where a motorbike and car collided.
