Picture by Kami Thomson A man has been hospitalised this morning after being found unconscious on the street in Aberdeen. The unidentified man, believed to be in his 50s, was found at Shapinsay Square at around 12.30am. Medics are treating him for a head injury at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Police established a cordon around the area he was found while they investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police received a call of concern for a man in his fifties at Shapinsay Square.” “He had a head injury but it is unknown how it was caused.” Police Scotland have cordoned off two areas either side of the Lang Stracht in Aberdeen, just west of Lewis Road.<br />Picture by Kami Thomson
