Police are appealing for witnesses after property stored in a derelict north-east building was deliberately set alight.
The incident happened at Priory Stores in Turriff at around 11.50pm on Saturday, October 24.
The building is situated opposite the junction of Upperton of Gask, on the Turriff to Thorneybank road.
Investigating officers say they are following a number of lines of inquiry, but are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Constable John Riddell said: “This fire was set to property stored within one of the rooms at the front of the building nearest to the roadside.
“I am currently conducting a number of lines of inquiry in an effort to identify the person or persons responsible but I would urge anyone that has any information regarding the fire, who witnessed the fire or was in the vicinity at the time to contact police.”
