Police have confirmed the identity of the woman killed following a crash in Nairn yesterday afternoon.
Two woman were involved in a collision with a lorry on the A96 at Academy Street and police have today confirmed that Margaret Ritchie, from Inverurie, was killed as a result of the incident.
The other woman, aged 82, was taken to Raigmore Hospital with serious injuries, where she remains in a stable condition, while the male driver of the lorry was not injured.
