Police have launched a new appeal for information for their investigation of a serious crash which took place on an Aberdeenshire road earlier this week.
Emergency services were dispatched to the A952 near Mintlaw at around 3.30am on Tuesday October 27 after a collision involving a Volvo C70 and a motorbike.
The incident resulted in a motorcyclist being taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in a serious condition.
A 35-year-old has already been reported to the procurator fiscal in relation to the incident, however officers are still appealing for anyone with information that would help their investigation to come forward.
In particular, officers are keen to speak to the occupants of two vehicles parked at the roadside near Wallace Caravans, approximately a mile and a half from where the collision happened.
One of the vehicles is described as a small, dark-coloured three door 4×4.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police on 101, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
