Picture by KENNY ELRICK A man and a woman have been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy Aberdeen street during rush hour. A motorist was cut free from their car after the collision on Dyce Drive this morning. Emergency services were called to the scene of the head on smash at 8.40am. A woman taken to hospital was described as having “serious but not life-threatening” injuries. Fire crews were sent from Dyce and North Anderson Drive. A silver BMW 3 series and a white Toyota Avensis were involved in the incident. The road was closed in both directions between Howemoss Avenue and Pitmedden Road for several hours this morning, reopening at 12:50pm.
