Thousands of Aberdeen fans are to pay tribute to Bailey Gwynne following his death at an Aberdeen school last week.
The 16-year-old was fatally injured in a corridor at Cults Academy last Wednesday and Dons fans are looking to honour him at Pittodrie this weekend.
Thousands of people from across Scotland and beyond have paid tribute to Bailey online and a floral garden paying tribute to the teenager has been set up within the grounds at Cults Academy.
Now Aberdeen fans based in the Richard Donald Upper Stand are using social media to organise a minute’s applause to show their support for Bailey’s heartbroken family.
Dons supporters are planning a round of applause on the 16th minute during Saturday’s game at Pittodrie against Dundee United.
On Friday a 16-year-old boy appeared in court charged with murdering Bailey.
The accused, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court charged with murder.
