Police and ambulances were sent to the scene of the accident on the A90 southbound Aberdeen to Stonehaven road. The three-car pile up took place close to the Bridge of Muchalls bend on the busy dual carriageway. The crash, which involved a red Audi A1, a grey Audi A6, and a silver Volkswagen Golf, occurred just before 7pm. Those involved in the accident are reported to have suffered minor injuries, but it is not known if they have been taken to hospital. No lanes of the busy commuter road have been closed as a result of the accident, however vehicle recovery teams are currently at the scene.
