Miller & Carter Steakhouse, is engaged in talks concerning a takeover of the former Esslemont and Macintosh building on Union Street. The chain already has 36 locations throughout Scotland and England. Plans to turn the long empty but iconic city centre building into a 98-bedroom hotel were pulled five months ago.
