The funeral of a north-east man who died in a horrific car crash will be held next week.
Alistair Wilson was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after the two-car crash on the A90 Aberdeen to Ellon road, near the Murcar roundabout, on Saturday, October 24.
But the 51-year-old, of New Pitsligo, could not be saved and died two days later.
Mr Wilson was well known in the community, with local representatives paying tributes and extending their sympathies to his grieving family.
He had been driving a grey Vauxhall Astra when it collided with a silver BMW 320 at the B&Q roundabout. The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
Mr Wilson’s funeral will be held at Moray Crematorium, Buckie, on Monday from 2.30pm.
