The body is still to be formally identified but the family of Margaret Lancaster, 52, from Tarves, have been made aware. Police were anxiously trying to trace Ms Lancaster who was reported missing after she failed to return to her Tarves home yesterday evening. The 52-year-old was last seen in the area by a family member at about 11am yesterday morning. Last night, police and coastguard teams conducted a large-scale search of the Bullers of Buchan area as concern grew for Ms Lancaster. Coastguard teams led the search, with crews from Peterhead, Cruden Bay and Stonehaven all involved in the operation. Peterhead lifeboat also took part in the search.
