Two people are to stand trial accused of trying to kill and a rob a man.
John McIntosh (34) and Joanne Ironside (36) today/yesterday faced the accusation at the High Court in Glasgow.
The pair are charged with attacking Daniel Main in Dill Road, Aberdeen on July 20 this year.
The attempted murder allegation includes claims Mr Main was hit with a hammer and a piece of wood.
He is also said to have been pushed, punched and kicked.
The charge further states Mr Main had his pockets rifled and was robbed of a cheque, medication and £20.
Ironside – also known as Mitchell – faces a separate allegation of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
It is claimed at a police station in Aberdeen she told told officers her name was Louise Phillips.
Lawyers for the pair today pled not guilty on their behalf during a short hearing.
Judge Lord Boyd set a trial due to start in March next year in Edinburgh.
