The incident took place on Invercauld Road, Braemar, about 10.55am. Both police and the ambulance service were called to the scene, and a man was subsequently taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. A police spokeswoman said the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. Officers closed the road for more than an hour in the wake of the incident.
