One of the most iconic buildings in Aberdeen has been lit up in the colours of the French Tricolore in honour of the victims of the terror attack in Paris.
Marischal College this evening turned red, blue and white in tribute to the 129 people killed in the attacks on Friday night, while a book of condolences is available for people to sign at the reception at the Town House.
Aberdeen City Council Leader Councillor Jenny Laing said: “Aberdeen has close ties with France throughout history, and particularly in recent times with the oil and gas sector.

The Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil and both the London Eye and Wembley Stadium are among the landmarks around the world to be lit blue, white and red in tribute to those killed in the attacks.
