A child and three adults have been taken to hospital after a bus and a lorry were involved in a crash in Aberdeenshire.
The vehicles collided shortly before 8am on the A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road at its junction with the B9009 Newburgh to Pitmedden road, and caused traffic chaos for about an hour and a half.
Police, fire and ambulance crews all attended the incident, which closed the road during the rush hour.
The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed it took four patients to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
They were an eight-year-old child, a man in his 80s, a man in his 60s and a woman in her 20s, a spokesman said. He added that they were all in a “stable condition”.
Police Scotland said the injuries were believed to be minor.
The road was closed and local diversions were in place until about 9.30am, the force said.
