Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to a fire that destroyed an Aberdeen chipper in the early hours of this morning.
Fire crews were called to Sea Salt and Sole close to Dyce Railway Station at 4.06am to deal with an extensive fire that had broke out at the premises.
Teams are still currently at the site damping down any last remaining hot patches, but the blaze is understood to have lasted for up to three hours.
A joint investigation has been launched by police and fire services to determine the circumstances of the blaze and police have now appealed for help from anyone who may have witnessed the fire.
Anyone with information regarding the fire is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
