Police are appealing for information after vandals targeted a car in a north-east village.
The incident, in the Montgarrie area of Alford, is believed to have happened around 2:45am on Sunday morning.
Police have reported that four people were seen damaging a black Toyota Yaris that was parked in a driveway.
PC Shiree Miller, who is investigating the crime, said: “We are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen a group of four individuals in the area or any vehicles being driven nearby around the time of the vandalism.
“Incidents of this nature are thankfully rare for the area and we are hoping that any suspicious activity would have stood out to members of the public that witnessed it.”
