Police have appealed for witnesses after a break-in at a city-centre camera shop
Jessops photographic centre in Market Street, Aberdeen, was broken into between 12am and 3.15am today and a number of cameras and electrical items were stolen. It is believed the value of the items stolen is into five-figures.
Detective Inspector Lee Jardine said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything unusual or suspicious.
“In particular we are appealing to anyone who saw a white Ford Transit panel van with registration number Y735 LJN in the area at the time of the incident.
“Four men were seen in the van who were dressed all in black and were all of medium build.
“Anyone who saw the van in question, the occupants, or who has been offered camera equipment for sale is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 should they wish to remain anonymous.”
The van was subsequently recovered in the Aberdeen area.
