Police have launched an investigation after a man was assaulted in an Aberdeen nightclub.
The victim was left with facial injuries following the attack at Club Tropicana on Chapel Street, at about 2.40am on October 17.
He was subsequently taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The perpetrator is described as a white man, about 30 years old, average height and build, wearing a white shirt and black trousers.
Constable Daniel Wilson, from the city’s alcohol and violence reduction unit, said:
“This was an unprovoked assault on a man attending a night out with friends in Aberdeen city centre.
“He was approached by a male and assaulted resulting in a serious facial injury. I would appeal for anyone with information or who saw anything to contact us.”
