A man was attacked in a north-east town last week and his mobile phone was stolen.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the assault and robbery which occurred in Kincorth on Friday November 20.
The incident took place at around 10pm in Kincorth Circle and involved a 35 year old man following a verbal altercation.
The victim sustained bruising to his face but did not require medical treatment.
Now police are hunting a suspect, described as a white man in his early twenties with short blond/fair hair and of slim build.
He was wearing a grey hooded top, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
A police spokesperson said: “It is believed that the suspect was part of a group of males and they left the scene together in a dark coloured vehicle which drove off along Faulds Row.
“If anyone has any information they are asked to call Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
