The incident took place at William Hill at Byron Square, in the Northfield area of the city, at about 5.30pm on Saturday. Officers said the culprit made off a “three-figure” sum of money. He is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, around 6ft, with short dark hair and of a medium build. He was wearing a grey-hooded top with a black body warmer and jeans, and spoke with a Liverpudlian accent. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.
