A historic north-east castle will host a traditional Christmas carol concert next week.
Aberdeen’s Con Anima Chamber Choir will perform a programme of songs and readings at Fyvie Castle on Friday, December 11.
Their performance – which will take place in the castle’s music gallery in the Leith Tower – will be conducted by Roger Williams, with Drew Tulloch on piano and organ.
Fyvie Castle’s senior assistant, Celine Mutch, said: “The music gallery is very atmospheric. It is hung with tapestries, some of which date back to the 17th century.
“We usually have Christmas trees throughout the house and there will be a huge Christmas tree in front of the house.
“We will also be serving a warming, non-alcoholic punch. This is always a very popular event and an excellent way to get into the spirit of Christmas.”
Tickets are available online and cost £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £5 for children.
