Fire crews called to north-east quarry blaze

Fire crews are on their way to a blaze at a north-east quarry.

The fire and rescue service were alerted to the incident, at Tom’s Forest Quarry, just outside Kemnay, a short while ago.

There are two appliances from Kintore and Aberdeen Central on their way to the site, with eight firefighters on board.
