Police are appealing for information after an Aberdeen sweet shop was robbed.
The incident happened at around 8pm yesterday Friday at the Wowzie shop on St Andrew Street.
Officers have confirmed a man stole between £50-100, leaving staff shaken, but uninjured.
The culprit is described as 5ft 9ins, and of medium build.
He was wearing a blue jacket with a hood, light coloured trousers and light coloured shoes or boots.
He spoke with a local accent and was last seen running in the direction of Charlotte Street.
Detective Constable Emma Forbes, who is dealing with the inquiry said: “The Charlotte Street area would have been busy at the time of the crime and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area or recognises the description to come forward with any information they may have.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
