An Aberdeen lottery player is sitting on a winning ticket – worth more than £275,000.
Lottery chiefs have appealed for the mystery winner to come forward to claim their EuroMillions prize, worth a total of £287,669.50.
The owner of the winning ticket who matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in the EuroMillions draw on November 20.
The winning numbers on that date were 4, 30, 34, 46, 49 and the Lucky Star numbers were 7 and 8. The lucky ticketholder has until May 18 to claim their prize.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, the cash – plus all the interest it has generated – will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticketholder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We’re urging everyone who bought a EuroMillions ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.”
