Two men are to appear in court today in relation to drugs that were recovered from a north-east village.
Crack cocaine and heroin worth about £10,000 was found by police on Wednesday in Memsie, near Fraserburgh.
As a result, two men aged 17 and 26 will appear in Peterhead Sheriff Court today.
The drugs were found as part of Police Scotland’s Operation Banook.
Six drug search warrants executed last month as part of the operation recovered heroin valued at more than £4,000 and crack cocaine worth almost £1,000 from properties in Fraserburgh and St Combs.
A low four-figure sum of cash was also recovered.
Five women aged between 26 and 41 and nine men aged between 16 and 46, three of whom are from the Liverpool area, were charged and reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
