Diversions on A90 after three-car collision

Three vehicles were involved in a collision on a busy north-east commuter route this evening.

The incident happened on the A90 at Rathen, four miles south of Fraserburgh, at around 4.30pm.

When emergency services arrived on the scene one vehicle was on its roof however no injuries were sustained.

A police spokeswoman said: “It was three vehicles. I understand one was on its roof. An ambulance was called but there were no serious injuries.”

Southbound traffic is currently being diverted onto the B9032 towards Memsie while the vehicle is recovered.
