Probe after quad bike stolen from Aberdeenshire property

Police are probing the theft of a quad bike from an Aberdeenshire home last night.
The theft of the blue and white Yamaha Raptor 700 from the rural property in Drumoak took place at about 9.45pm.
The vehicle was spotted heading in the direction of Aberdeen and was last spotted in Hazlehead.
PC Grant Hardie, who is investigating the incident, said: “Though Drumoak and Aberdeenshire enjoy relatively low levels of crime, it is important that residents take steps to discourage criminals by ensuring that their cars and homes are securely locked.
“Keep your valuables out of sight and remember that a simple act such as keeping your car keys out of easy reach of your door can be a vital step in preventing a crime from taking place.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the quad bike or has any information on the theft to come forward.
“Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
