Police have launched an investigation into a fire at a school in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to Harlaw Academy at 1.30am this morning following reports of a fire at the school.
On arrival fire officers searched the premises, discovering damage to a number of windows and several seats of small fires.
A police cordon was established whilst the building was searched by fire officers who confirmed there was no-one within and declared the building safe.
There is a report of minor smoke and fire damage to the school. However, the full extent is yet to be assessed.
A police and fire investigationhas been launched, with the incident currently being treated as wilful fireraising.
