Police were called to the scene at 8:15am after reports a woman had been assaulted next to Inverdee ‘Goals’ Playing fields on Great Southern Road. A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman had been taken to hospital and that she was in a stable condition. He said: “A woman in her 20s has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. “She is in a stable condition. As a result of the incident, part of the playing fields have been cordoned off and a northbound lane of Great Southern Road is been closed. Police say their inquires are at a very early stage.
