Two Aberdeenshire councillors have teamed up with several local businesses to help those in need this festive season.

The supermarket has donated Christmas crackers to the drive while the owner of the award winning India on the Green has offered families in Aboyne, Upper Deeside and Donside a free meal.
The initiative has been sponsored by Strutt & Parker in Banchory, which is providing hessian bags and staff time in order help with the packing and organising.
Mrs Blackett said it was about everyone trying to do their bit for the community.
She added: “It’s heartwarming to see that people so clearly still care about others.
“One family has decided not to send Christmas cards this year and are donating chocolate selection boxes for the children instead.”
Annabel Blackett, of Strutt and Parker, said the firm was glad to be able to help.
She added: “It’s very important to remember that whilst this is a season for joy, it can also be even more challenging for many people.
“So the opportunity to put something back into the community is very welcome.”
