A north-east law practice has given charitable causes a boost as part of its 10th anniversary commemorations.

It comes after owner and principal solicitor Margaret Waldron pledged to support causes that meant something to members of her 11-strong team.
The firm’s efforts includes collecting goods for Community Food Initiatives North East, donating around £400 worth of goods to Befriend A Child and donating 10% of all wills instructed in July, August and September to Alzheimer Scotland.
Mrs Waldron also took part in Strictly Come Prancing for Aberlour Childcare Trust, raising £1,270.
Mrs Waldron said: “I am absolutely thrilled that we’ve pulled off the campaign, beating our target of 10 individual causes and supporting a super range of charities, not just financially, but also by creatively raising awareness and by getting clients involved too.
“It’s been a fantastic way to give back to the local community that’s supported us, but also to our team, with the causes handpicked by them.”
