Man injured after city centre assault

A man has been injured after an alleged assault in Aberdeen city centre today.

The incident is said to have happened in the Castlegate area at around 1.30pm today.

Another man is in custody following the alleged assault.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “One man was injured but did not have to go to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

“One man is in custody in relation to the incident.”
