A woman has died as a result of her injuries after a two car crash on a notrious accident blackspot.
Police, fire and ambulance teams were called to the scene of the smash south of Aberdeen, close to the Charleston Flyover.
Fire teams have confirmed that one woman had to be cut free from their car following the incident.
It’s now been revealed that a 37-year-old woman has died as a result.
A police spokesman said: “Police advise that as a result of a two vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at 12.50pm today at the Charleston flyover on the A90, sadly a 37 year-old woman has died as a result of injuries sustained.
“Police would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision to make contact on 101.
“No further information on the woman’s identity will be released until next of kin are fully inform.”
