A man has been fined for causing £6,000 of damage to the caravan where he lived.
Adrian Hentel was caught by neighbours jumping up and down in his rented home while smashing up the contents of his caravan.
When police arrived at Blacksmith’s Croft, Bucksburn on Boxing Day, they discovered he had broken a window, damaged and removed interior doors and damaged his washing machine and tables and chairs. He had also destroyed his bathroom suite.
Yesterday the-34-year-old appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and admitted causing more than £6,000 worth of damage to the property.
No explanation was given for the mechanic’s behaviour.
Sentencing Hentel, who will no longer be allowed to live at the static home, Sheriff Annella Cowan said the owners of the caravan would be more than entitled to sue him for the damage he caused.
She said she was fining him £600 for the “inconvenience and upset” he caused.
