An Aberdeen car park is set to become a drive-in cinema next year.
Organised by Robert Gordon University students Pittodrie Stadium car park will show 80s classic Dirty Dancing.
The March 5 event hopes to raise money for the Great Daffodil Appeal by Marie Curie, a charity providing care and support for people living with terminal illnesses.
A gigantic screen will be brought up from Glasgow and viewers then need to tune their car radio to the event’s dedicated frequency to hear the audio soundtrack.
Hundreds of people have registered interest in the event and tickets are set to be released over the next few weeks.
A spokeswoman for Sodexo – the firm that looks after hospitality for Pittodrie, said: “We are delighted to support this event in Aberdeen at Pittodrie Stadium.”
