Five youths were rushed to hospital yesterday after taking ecstasy at a north-east house party.
Four ambulances and a special operations response team were called to the property in Westhill, after the five boys became “unwell” in the early hours.
Now police are making enquiries into the incident in Westhill Crescent.
The five men were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
Area Commander Chief Inspector Richard Craig said: “We are making enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened after five men took unwell having consumed an unknown substance.
“There is nothing to suggest there is a wider threat to the public.”
