The River Dee burst its banks and the town has become completely flooded. VIDEO: Watch caravan floating down the River Dee Roads in and out of the Royal Deeside resort town are closed and impassable. Coatsguard Helicopters, dozens of fire-fighters, police, ambulance crews and mountain rescue are all engaged in the rescue effort. It is not yet known how many people have needed rescued or if there have been any injuries.
