As Storm Frank continues to batter Scotland, the Met Office have warned north-east resident could be in for a quite stunning yet terrifying sight this evening.
The video above shows the waves battering Aberdeen Harbour during Storm Frank last week, however, the Met Office has now advised that waves just off the north-east coast could be even bigger today.
The forecasters are predicting waves just off the north-east coast to reach heights as tall as nine metres – the equivalent of two double decker buses.
Waves elsewhere off northern Scotland are expected to reach unusually high heights as Storm Frank continues to bring miserable conditions to the country but it is the north-east which is expected to see the biggest of the waves.
