One person has been taken to hospital after a five-vehicle crash this evening.
Police and ambulance staff were called to the scene of the incident at the junction between Foresterhill Road at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Ashgrove Road West.
A police spokesman said that around five vehicles were involved in the smash.
The one casualty has been taken to the nearby ARI as a precaution, but it is not believed that any injuries suffered by those in the crash are serious.
Tailbacks are understood to be building up on routes close to where the smash took place, and the road is partially blocked as emergency services attend the scene.
