Three charged after man injured on Aberdeen Street

Three men have been charged with drugs offences after a man was mown down by a vehicle on an Aberdeen street.
Police and two ambulances were called to Balnagask Wynd in Torry yesterday (January 5) after a man was seriously injured.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said inquiries into the crash were ongoing and: “Three men have been charged in relation to drugs offences and are anticipated to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court tomorrow.”
The man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses spoke of a strong police presence in the area following the incident with residents being escorted to their homes.
The man was hit by the vehicle in a cul-de-sac in front of flats on Balnagask Wynd yesterday afternoon (3:45pm).
The street was cordoned off for more than three hours while enquiries were carried out.
Police teams carried out an investigation on the street and went door-to-door looking for information.
